Did my nails today :)

So I have seen few posts on people doing Galaxy Nail so I decided to try it.

You basically just need
-Nail polish at least 4 (one dark, one pastel one strong/bright, and white) I used 6
- A dotting tool, you can use a tooth pick if all else fails but it's better w/the tool
-Nail Polish remover.
-Base and Top Coat
-Tweezers
- Make up sponge
-TIME!! this is pretty easy and mistake proof, but doing the left hand took me sooo long.

The tools You wont need very much sponge at all. Just make sure you rip it instead of cut it. You want it to be really porous and bumpy not flat and smooth
So I didn't take a picture of step one. XD  basically just put some base on and polish your nails as normal. - I used OPI clear base, and Urband Outfitters Blue-Tie you can use black too
STEP #2
rip a piece of sponge the size of the eraser on those #2 pencils and on each nail dab in your nebula. I did them different on every nail but you can use the same pattern it look good either way. Try not to get too much polish on you want to be able to see the navy(or black) underneath

Step #3
Use your secondary color I recommend a pastel hue it stands out really nice and is subtle enough not to over power your nebula core. I used  Hottopic's Mint Fresh once again dab w/your sponge. use the same one you used for white it will help the colors blend nicely :) try to focus it in the middle of the white so you dont completely cover it
Step #4
Now put in your core w/a nice bright color. I used Orley's Ruby. and lightened it w/ OPI Iris i was Thinner. Use a new bit of sponge this time, and dab on lighter color followed by bright then light color again to soften etc, blend as you wish. Try to focus the brightest to the center. Don't blend too much. I'll tell you why later.

Step#5
The fun part! grab your tool, or tooth pick; and spot all over. make sure they are random and concentrate on some areas and leave some areas pitch black. Like the real sky. I like to put in some big dots for planets, moons XD So if you are using the q-tip it's going nto take a while you can literally do like 3 stars per dip but don't give up it's totally worth it. :)

Step#6
Yay!! All done. remember why I said don't over blend the bright? I found even after everything was dry the red took longest to dry. It might be the polish but I think it's mostly because it's sitting on so much other product. When you put your top coat on it's going to smear the red a bit, if you over blended it's going to totally wash it out. :(

I used A glittery polish before my top coat to add more stars.

Over all I had a ton of fun and I cant wait to try this w/neon colors.

Recent Purchases

Haven't posted in forever because I've been extremely busy, school/work/ home. Had some fun photo shoots with the milky rail train set but the pictures haven't been released; so I'll put those up as soon as I get them.

I got this in the mail today so I just couldn't contain myself!

Lime Crime had a sale this past Feb, so I decided to order some lip sticks. I own all of the carrousel glosses but I have actually never tried their lipsticks. My glosses came so quick that I was surprised when 2 weeks passed and nothing arrived from this order. Turns out it got lost and just made it's way here. thankfully it is safe. *phew*

4 lipsticks and 2 gloss refills (Golden Ticket and Candy Apple)

the packaging is really cute

I'll review them properly tomorrow, but I tried all of them on and they are so rich and creamy, very much like Mac's matt colors.

I alos got these kind of old TUK's for only $12!!!

If you know what this is then I'm sure you are as excited as I am to see what is inside!!
So this is Black Milk they make the most amazing leggings and swims. I ordered some items during a limited sale and was shark enough to grabb TWO limited items. I was a little bit weary about the blue ones because I had heard about how much they shine.

THE SHIIIIIINE!!!
It's crazy but I love it

I had been wanting these for so long but they are discontinued, but I finally got them.

And JL's (the designer) thanks for your purchase note. He gives me permission to buy awesome shoes to go w/these. He's so thoughtful. *runs off to buy shoes*

Until next time,

Mail came today!!!!! It's milky rail train!!!!!!

This took forever to come because I ordered every piece basically; and BABY/AATP does this amazing thing where every piece in a big set is released at different times. :/ It was totally worth it though. My only complaint was that I'm not a huge fan of the embroidered clocks, for the price they could have easily made them out of metal. Some clocks are, and it looks much classier.

I order this set through SS, I could have ordered it online, but I am horrible at waking up at 3am for reservations and often miss the pieces I want most. I decided not to risk it and shell out the extra 10% since I have ordered from her before and knew she was reliable. I wont give the full price of the set because to be honest plus fees shipping etc I have no idea, it was sent in multiple payments because of the whole release date things as well as exchange rate issues. Just as a marker however my initial 25% deposit was 800$ then the yen skyrocketed!!! XD

This was a Mitsukazu Mihara X Alice and The Pirates collaboration

WARNING: So sorry if this takes forever to load I do not know how to make a blogger cut, I looked it up but it basically made me do this @.@ so I gave up.

Knee high socks, I have a grey and black set like this but I felt the white went better, plus at that point what's another $27

3 post card gift w/purchase for full set orders. They got a bit bent in transit :(

poster gift w/full set orders, this thing is Pretty huge

his and her coat/ caplet

they are actually one but it detaches, the big part buttons on the guy blouse and looks amazing. I would have never realized this had the dolls not been wearing it as such.

The best part about this set is that even though it seems like a one trick pony, almost all of the little pieces are detachable. It can be very elaborate or very basic, so I can see myself doing so much with it. Here are some pics of a few pieces, they all came individually wrapped in bags w/ A/P stickers and I had to use the pictures to figure out where to stick what.

Bonus pic of my Yorkie melody wearing her new A/P bows

The box it came in! good thing we have an elevator

That's all for today! Stay tuned for the unveiling of the dolls post.
